There is currently no official lifeguard qualification in Spain . It is the most representative official organization in the field of rescue and lifeguarding. It has offices in all the Autonomous Communities in charge of offering courses and refresher courses.

Since its appearance on the Spanish beaches in 1971, this organization has been linked to the training of lifeguards, just as the RFSS maintains delegations in most geographical points, being the closest to the coast the places where these courses are held, in addition to the big capitals where the training offer is very wide throughout the year.
